Craft Life Goals to Build Self-Esteem

July 6, 2020 Jessica Kaley

Building strong self-esteemĀ is easier when you take the time to build a set of life goals that define your personal vision of success. Life goals provide us with direction and help clarify the changes we need to make in our journey to healthy self-esteem.

If you have poor self-esteem, you may be focusing too much of your time on helping others reach their goals and ignoring your own. You may think that your goals should be exactly like those of the people in your life or what they tell you your goals should be. It's difficult when your self-esteem is low to recognize that you deserve a life that is satisfying to you. A great way to build your sense of worthiness is to explore what your ideal life would look like.

Create Your Personal Vision of Success to Craft Life Goals

In today's video, I talk about how to create life goals that define your personal vision of success. I developed my own method of designing a plan for a happier life by combining many different things I've learned in my own journey. In the video, I'll teach my methodology to you.

Creating a personal vision of success gives you a framework that will guide you on your path to build strong self-esteem. It also helps you appreciate your individuality by giving you permission to explore what your ideal life would look like. We are all unique. Recognizing and accepting that your life goals can be different than the people around you is a sign of self-love, one of the key factors of healthy self-esteem.

Do you have a well-crafted set of life goals? Which of the areas of the circle of life mentioned in the video feels like the right place for you to begin exploring? Share your thoughts in the comments about how having a personal set of life goals will help you build a healthier self-esteem.
