Here my ptsd is my friend as my brain is much more equiped to handle these kind events and still look for alternative media to form my own opinion of truth. Also the goal is to become responsible adults and not cushion ourselves in cotton wool, as to prevent trauma being dealt to our future generations. As no other are we aware of the longlasting effects of being traumatized and wish that on no young soul. Because of ptsd we have weak points in our braindevelopment, but we also have strong points in surviving and in knowing truth as truth, lies and control as lies and control.
@Gertrude - Love that idea, "we also have strong points", so true! And they can bring such gifts into our lives when we acknowledge them.
