Life Doesn't Stop for Binge Eating Disorder Recovery

If life stopped and made sure you were ready to continue when you had binge eating No matter what, life doesn't stop for binge eating disorder recovery. Here's how to handle binge eating disorder when life just won't stop.disorder, it wouldn't be life. Average occurrences and normal events can become all that much more difficult to deal with all by virtue of the fact that you live with an eating disorder. I came down with a sinus infection, my second this year alone, a few days ago. I'm still struggling with the headaches, congestion, sneezing, coughing, and mucus.

During this time, when I don't feel well at all, life is throwing entirely too much at me, I still have to work all three of my jobs and cope with my binge eating disorder on top of it. And when I'm running a fever, miserable, and sick, the last thing I am prepared to do is eat healthily and maintain my coping skills. Also, to add to everything else, I didn't get out to go grocery shopping (because of my sinus infection) so I ended up with very little in the fridge that was good for me to eat.

Binge Eating Disorder When Life Doesn't Stop

My life with binge eating disorder and a sinus infection took a turn for the worse when I noticed that it was 9 p.m. and I hadn't eaten in far longer than I should have. Due to my gastric sleeve surgery, I can't go for too long without eating or I will feel nauseous. So I needed to eat. I went into the fridge to find very little to eat. I ended up coming up with the idea to cook trout burgers, cut them up and put them onto a pizza with cheddar. It wasn't bad, in a strange way. But still not what I should have been eating.

Life Returns to Normal-ish for Me and My Binge Eating Disorder

Now my life has slowed down a bit, I'm better able to deal with my binge eating disorder. No matter how well prepared you are, or how great you are at coping, there will always be a time when things get out of control and you will make poor choices. But just like always, lean on your support system, go to your doctor, and whatever you do, try to avoid making a trout and cheddar pizza at 9 p.m. at night.
