I'm new here

I'm new to this site. I am not new to online blogging. I blog on a few sites, one of which is the local newspaper. I enjoy writing and sharing my story. I have had a fair share of trials and tribulations. I quit illegal drugs 25 years ago, quit drinking 20 years ago and stopped smoking 17 years ago. I volunteer at a state hospital outpatient facility where I co-chair a Smoking Cessation Class and a Wellness Group. My passion is to be an example of how the recovery process can be a good experience, by taking meds, getting enough sleep, eating right, excercise and keeping the mind active. David
