Let's give this a try.......

Well I saw my Dr. yesterday. I was really only supposed to be there to talk to my Social Worker and pick up Meds. Where I live, we have mental health places that you can go to if you can't afford the $150.00hr. Doctors. You see a Social Worker once a month, and for a while I was getting free medication but they found out I was on Medicare and had drug coverage so no more free meds. Then I see the Doctor about once every three months to see how I am doing on my meds. I told my Social Worker that I had been depressed for over a month now and I wanted the doctor to put me on an anti-depressant. Well the way things work over there, I was surprised when he got me in to see the doctor. So, my doctor decided Lexepro was the way to go because of all the other meds I'm on. I also have ADHD, Anxiety Disorder, and a form of Lupus. So I take about 15 different meds. everyday. And some of them , like prednisone can make you depressed. So it seems like I have to take a drug to counteract this drug and so on. Still trying to find a therapist that takes medicare, I'm disabled and my wife is in nursing school and working part time. So we can just barely pay they bills. Thank God our cars are paid off. I just hope this Lexapro works fast and lifts me out of this depression. If anyone who reads this blog and is familiar with Lexapro, please message me and let me know what your experience with it is. Well I guess that's all for now.
