Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and Obsessive Compulsive (OCD) are anxiety disorders. Body dysmorphia is where someone is excessively concerned and preoccupied by a perceived defect, real or imaginary, in the person's physical features. Rebecca talks in this HealthyPlace Mental Health TV program about her experience with BDD.

Rebecca is a 27-year-old bright woman, who writes medical literature. She started experiencing OCD symptoms at age 7. By the time she was 22, OCD took her to a point where she was unable to leave her home. Once in therapy for her OCD, Body Dysmorphic Disorder symptoms were recognized.
