QUESTION:

What should I do if I have the BPD?

DR. HELLER'S ANSWER:

First accept it's not your fault and that you're treatable. You can have a sensational life if you do the necessary things. You must get all your diagnoses made and treated, you need a plan for stress, and you need to retrain your brain. The BPD rarely exists on it's own, and all the diagnoses need to be made. The screening test I use for my patients is available in my book "Biological Unhappiness," and in the screening test section of this website.

You are also responsible for yourself even if the disorder is not your fault. Learn, learn, learn. There is a wealth of information available at this Website. Only you can get yourself successful. In the strongest terms possible I recommend you order and listen to Zig Ziglar's "How to Stay Motivated" cassette tape package. It will teach you things you must know, and my patients who do the best listen to Zig Ziglar the most. 1-800-527-0306.
