QUESTION:

Dear Sir, Sometimes I wake up so angry and hurt I'm actually crying, then I lose all control. Any recommendations?

DR. HELLER'S ANSWER:

Not knowing your diagnoses makes it more difficult. In the BPD, it usually means dysphoric dreams are occurring. The addition of Tegretol at bedtime to an SSRI - especially Prozac - usually stops this phenomenon.
