Sexual Dysfunction and Ginkgo Biloba (No-BPD)
QUESTION:
I remember having seen something about some herbal treatment for sexual dysfunction. I think the suggestion was for Ginkgo Biloba but I can't find it now. Can you enlighten me?
DR. HELLER'S ANSWER:
A recent study showed 91% of women and 74% of men saw their sexual dysfunction from antidepressant medications go away with ginkgo. This was true for all 4 phases of the sexual cycle. Doses ranged from 60-220mg daily, but the average dose was 209mg daily.
