BPD and Diabetes (No-BPD)

QUESTION:

My sister in law raised by an alcoholic, juvenile on set diabetes, diagnosed brother with schizophrenia who committed suicide, is 40 years old insist she could not continue her career because of chronic illness had a child 8 years ago HS education and a complete trip to communicate with. Hostile unconnected reference to people of power she has worked with attacking and has systematically alienated my brother from all his blood relatives.
Are the complications of diabetes complicating a personality disorder?

DR. HELLER'S ANSWER:

Diabetes will only complicate the illnesses when the sugar is low, causing increased irritability. The disorders cause the diabetes to be far more problematic.
