Parenting Skills: Table of Contents
Welcome to our online parent education workshop. We think of it as a place to build parenting skills. We'll be talking about how to encourage children and adolescents to feel positive about themselves and to become the winners they were meant to be. We'll also discuss:
- building positive relationships with your kids
- practical solutions for parent-child communication
- teaching kids to develop self-discipline
- disciplining your children, from toddlers to teens
Many parents still feel spanking is necessary for effective discipline. When parents learn and apply the three Fs of Effective Parenting, they find that yelling, screaming and spanking disappear and a positive relationship is established.
