Fall Out Boy Wentz Talks About Life with Bipolar Disorder

In Britain's Q magazine, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz has spoken out about his battle with depression, admitting there are dark days when he can't get out of bed.

Pete Wentz reveals he suffers from bipolar disorder, manic depressionThe bass player, who is currently dating Ashlee Simpson, reveals he has been diagnosed with manic depression.

He says, "I have manic depression. I obsess over everything. When I am depressed, I can't get out of bed. But right now, it's sunny and 65 in my head, so it's OK!"

Wentz, 28, goes on to reveal he has been on medication for depression and anxiety problems since he was 18, revealing the trauma of his parents' separation on his sixth birthday left him emotionally scarred and unable to express his feelings.

He adds, "I turned my emotions off like a faucet."

"Side-Effects? My Aching Body!"

All of a sudden my whole body has been very achy! I feel like I have the flu. Every square inch of me is aching. My knees, ankles, back, neck, legs, arms, wrists, elbows, sholders, and stomach ( not intesinal). I'm on Lamictal, Effexor, Depakote, Seroquel and Ambien ( have been for 3 months now). I was wondering if anyone has had these kind of side-effects.  respond here
