From the HealthyPlace.com Bulletin Boards: "I Don't Know What Else to Do"

Cherryblossom26:

"I was released from a crisis stabilization unit on Friday because Thursday I wanted to end my life. I have been on my medication faithfully for a month, seeing a therapist and going to a support group. I was trying to put positive influences in my life. And still I flipped out! I had no mechanism to cope and very little support from friends and family who desperately wanted to help but didn't know how. I don't know where to turn now and I have so many emotional problems and physical problems, I see no relief in sight. Deep rejection and no self-esteem have left me feeling completely useless to help myself and I am numb and tired and shaky; just existing through each day. Can anyone help me understand this and know what to do?" respond here.

Something to think about...

"Fear grows out of the things we think; and lives in our minds. Compassion grows out of the things we are; and lives in our hearts."
