Antidepressants and Suicide Risk
In 2004, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) emphasized warnings that
antidepressants may cause suicide or suicidal thoughts. But a study from
Harvard researchers indicates that people are at a lower risk of suicide
after starting on antidepressants than in the week before the treatment
began.
