They say that crying is healthy -- even beneficial -- to one who needs it. Why do I feel like shit after I'm done crying?
Today is the first day that I have cried, nay, sobbed like a baby for as long as I can remember.
To be expected, of course. After all, my wife and I are separated at her wish.
You see, my son spent the night and most of today with me. Then we went over to the house. It looked so beautiful. My wife did some rearranging and cleaning since I've been gone, and the place looks great.
I reached down for my favorite pet, and she ran away from me.
I truly felt like a stranger in my house.
I couldn't handle it and after we came back to my place and my son left, I lost control. I just could not stop crying. I feel as though a part of me is dying -- or a part of my life is dying -- and that I was grieving.
The result? A headache and eyes that are very, very sore.
I don't understand. How does crying make you feel better?!? I hate it. It hurts!
Crying may be necessary, but for those who say that it's good for you, well, you obviously do not know what crying really is!
I feel ten years older, and I think another gray hair popped up in my eyebrow.
Rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, rant, RANT!
I feel like bitching! I am still angry!!! What has this cry done for me?!?
