The Agoraphobe and the Dance

My Fiance and I were given tickets to a ball! His sister gave us tickets to a 40's style ball for Christmas. We have been looking forward to it for months....

So...

Of course I am in a panic. What do I wear? We have errands to run first! All my stuff is at my mum's house, what if I can't find a dress? What if we don't eat anything, and Fiance doesn't bring cash, and then we don't get to eat at the ball? Will I have time to do my hair in hot rollers?

And, all the other panics that go along with this. Will I remember the ball at all? Will *I* be the one attending it? Or will I only get to get ready, then get cleaned up afterward (as is often the case, which seems a little unfair). Such a ball of stress right now, that all I want to do is get in bed. Which is lame. I would much rather go to the ball...
Where is a fairy godmother when you need one?! hmm

Hi Matilla - oh for a fairy godmother, wouldnt it be fabulous. If only life was more like the fairy tales - it wouldnt be so hard at times! We have learnt that our party girl part just loves to be asked to lead - it helps us all be social. Hope you went to the ball and had a great time.
