multiple diagnosis ow to cope?

I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and ptsd...i am also an alchoholic. the alchoholism stems from the psych problems, yet the alchoholalso worsens the symptoms. i am having a very hard time coping with all of this and it is hurting my entire family, especially my husband and children. pills dont seem to help the bipolar, need therapy for the other two....just now got transportation to attend therapy. if anyone has any suggestions please tell me i am open to any advice at this point

Hi there,

I just gave two shots at responding to your post, and they have both disappeared. I don't have the energy to do the whole thing again, but I do want you to know that there are many things that you can do for yourself to help how you feel.

Be willing to have an open heart and an open mind, and to try anything.

I have lots of labels too, including substance abuse, and I would recommend checking out some 12 Step programs. I have gone to NA EA ACOA, and AA. They all have the same basis, and I have recieved lots of support. Keep trying different groups until you find a group where you really like the people.

Use this site. Express yourself, it is OK to do that.
