Dreams that wake me up after drinking alcohol

Hi. Since some months, I stopped drinking at home alone, but now only sometimes in a pub.
Now whenever I sleep after having drunk, I often have bad dreams that wake me up very early in the morning, which prevent me from retreiving sleep, so I wake up.
When I don't drink, I can more easily wake up much later.
I have dreams involving 3 girls separately that I don't see anymore but in my dreams, and I feel that 2 of them are here with me while I'm sleeping, then run away before I wake up, so that they can note what I say unconsciously while I'm sleeping, then make it know somehow...
I know it's strange but I can't see any therapist right now to talk about it.

Yes I am under medication but this belief is still here. I take one 4mg pill of Risperdal when I wake up then another pill of 2mg a little bit after, but I don't take them anymore before sleeping just to be sure that I can wake up earlier, as these pills make me more sleepy. If I take them before sleeping, this makes me sleep everynight a lot, like 12 hours.

Do you think that maybe is the result of meds and alcohol? Maybe that combination is what is doing that to you.

I don't really know. Sure combination of alcohol and meds are not the best of all. But I know it doesn't depend only on that. There are days where I don't drink any alcohol and I can have these bad dreams or these dreams with one of these persons.

it's sam and it might be good to do some reading about the affects of alchohol and meds and how the combo can affect dreams. i'll do some research for you in my psych books. i'll get back to you.

also i was wondering how things went with your special someone, and if she responded to your email. well maybe we can get another chance to talk later. good luck!!!

Hi sam.
I've stopped drinking now and my dreams are less haunting now. I'll try to keep on like this.
No my special someone didn't answer, as I suspected.
My uncle is here now with my grandma and me and I'm finding other things to do and think.

I think you leave take a alcohol.Every problem leave automatically.

Hi Carcio, the major problem is with drinking alcohol. The alcohol takes control of your mind and brain has no control by you during the process. So, what you thinking in daytime or during the loneliness,that mainly occurs in dreams. So, i will suggest you to keep away from alcohol and if you want to drink, then better not to take both at the same time,this will cause reaction.
