After comparing a variety of
different things, costs, pros and cons, Paul decided what he liked best was
Bowflex or free weights,
and I was open to either. Then we gave it more thought and decided we liked
being able to put it away and not have it take up so much space. So, Bowflex it
is.
Let's hope he likes it, let's hope
I like it, and let's hope it's worth it. If it lives up to the claims it should
be, and I'll think of quitting Bally's after January and picking up street
jogging for cardio. Maybe I'll find a handy ballroom dancing class like we
wanted to take after the holidays? I'm just not really thrilled with this
branch of Bally's, and driving to the old one is a huge way out of the way. If
not, then we will return it and get a refund on Bowflex and I'll start shopping
for a new gym. It's supposed to be here in 3-4 weeks, so it will be in time for
our Oct. anniversary on the 27th. Secretly, I am hoping that if he puts on some
muscle, his metabolism will encourage him to eat more often.
Talked to Adrith sometime this
week on the phone but I've already forgotten when that was. Monday night?
Tuesday? What's today? She sounds like things are moving along over there. Over
here, I am very busy and scatterbrained right now. When I talked to Mom B. on
the phone, she was complaining that the move has her all crazy and she's
getting like Maw-maw who can't remember what she did in the last hour.
I laughed, but not at Maw-maw's or
even Mom B's predicament but my own. I sometimes don't remember what I was
doing in the last few minutes. I keep mislaying things!
