...blue canary in the outlet by the light switch...who watches over yoooooouuuu... make a little birdhouse in your soul....

If I'm humming cheesy They Might Be Giants songs, you have to bet I'm feeling a lot less grumpy.

Gotta put away this big box of pictures from when I was trying to pick out some to take to show my friends over Easter. Found old pictures of me and Paul. Those little boothie picture things. My favorite of the set? Us nose to nose. We used to shriek "Cyclops eye!" and smoosh our foreheads together to see the others eyes blur into one huge eye. I was 19 and he was 20 in the photo. We took it at the Kmart down the street from our first apartment because we'd popped in to get drinks and well... it was there. Who can resist little picture-taking boothies?

He had longer hair than me then! Yipes, 5 years ago! Where does the time fly?! I still wear that Einstein T-shirt from the photo to gym despite the holes in it!

I've been asking him lately if he won't grow his hair out again just to humor me.

He said, with the usual Paul laissez-faire, "Maybe, baby, maybe."

Anyway, I've been poking at CamelBak trying to decide which style will suit best. I barely made it with 2 water bottles on the bike with Paul mooching off my supply out at Myakka. Why can't he use his own bottle? If I go ahead and narrow the styles I like down to two, I'll get one of each and he can have one and quit sucking up my water when we ride long. Punk.

I have a feeling that a CamelBak (or any other brand name really) will come in handy once I hit those heavy walking sessions with marathon training. That's coming soon enough. Adrith kindly pointed out that 37 weeks is a long time. I don't even want to think about it like that. :P

I feel a good kind of sore along my shoulders from weight training last night. Yay.

I'm thinking about doing the Mayfaire 5k a lot. My MIL said it sounded fun and she'd do it if she didn't have that bad heel spur thing going. Paul hasn't said whether or not he will do it with me either. Maybe I ought to ask my SIL if she'd like to? Not that I can't do it alone, but jeez. It's only 3 miles!

I need to sit down and do something about my journal on HealthyPlace. It's getting too outdated and just ick.

What else is going on? Not much other than trying to coax Paul to eat. Pizza and a milkshake for dinner today. Nothing but soda the rest of the day. What am I to do with this man?! I'm going to see if he drinks at least a Carnation before bed. He's not going to have it tomorrow morning. Maybe I can worm some crackers into him too.
