My niece was born this (Yesterday?
The 19th) afternoon. She came in at 21" and 7 lbs, 4 oz. Yippee! I went
right out to buy baby clothes and we'll be visiting her and her family soon and
riddle her with presents she can't even understand yet. Fun! :)
I tranferrred the
notes from my training log at active.com to my Dietwatch calendar because I need things in
one place. Not all over all these other websites. Starting next week, there I
go, but May is the first full month of it. It looks like this:

I'm spending a lot of time
thinking. What do I think? That it's going to be hard and it's going to
kick my ass big time!
It looks so neat and tidy nexy
month, doesn't it? Little check boxes with days in between to rest. It's a good
thing I was flriting with a 5k schedule already because this marathon schedule
-- whoo!
Sundays are long walks and after
the initial first week of honeymoon easy time, we get right to it -- 60 minutes
and over per session. I'll be doing these outdoors before I go pleasure biking
with Paul. IF I go pleasure biking. I might be too dead! He'll have to drag me
in the wagon instead.
Tuesdays are speed walks, the
shortest ones so far at just 30 minutes. So I stuck my weight training in that
day. I like it already. I like weights and I like short cardio days! Hurrah for
Tuesdays!
Thurday is interval training for
60 min and the goal is to increase the intervals. Something I've always hated,
and avoided. but I console myself by giving me the option to do the intervals
on a treadmill or the elliptical cross trainer to give my ankle a break from
the pounding. I have a feeling I will REALLY hate Thursdays.
Saturdays suck though. They are
like Sundays, the long walks, but it was the only place I could stick in a
weight training session. Thrusday is too soon after Tuesday to weight train
again. Ditto Sunday prior. So I'll be at the gym for HOURS on Saturday while
Paul sleeps in. Sucks, sucks, sucks!
I refused to put anything in on
MWF, because I'll get sick of the gym soon enough and all I want to do on rest
days is lay down on the futon and bitch at my iguanas about how awful I
feel.
When I get this dietitian thing
out of the way, I'm going to see about checking in with a podiatrist. I need to
be sure I'll have happy feet!
I can, I can , I can. I will, I
wiil, I will. I am, I am , I am.
Epsom salts. That's going to be a
feature on the grocery list for a little while. Sigh.
