In this clip, Kellner tries to avoid admitting his ties to Mecta and Somatics, Inc. when pressed by Dr. Peter Breggin. When the talk show host joins in (with the audience also pressing for the truth), Kellner attempts to minimize its importance, saying "I'm not talking about my credentials..."

This is not the first time that Charles Kellner has tried to cover up his ties to the main ECT device manufacturers (Somatics and Mecta). In the past, he has denied affiliation. Yet when required to disclose his ties to the manufacturers by accrediting agencies, Kellner listed both Somatics and Mecta:
