This list of clinical trials is provided by ClinicalTrials.gov. ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry of federally and privately supported clinical trials conducted in
the United States and around the world. ClinicalTrials.gov gives you information about a trial's
purpose, who may participate, locations, and phone numbers for more details. This information
should be used in conjunction with advice from health care professionals.
ClinicalTrials.gov currently contains
60,608 trials sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, other federal agencies, and
private industry. Studies listed in the database are conducted in all 50 States and in
157 countries ClinicalTrials.gov receives over
40 million page views per month
50,000 visitors daily. The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), through its National Library of Medicine (NLM), has developed
this site in collaboration with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA),
as a result of the FDA Modernization Act, which was passed into law in November 1997. See the FDA document -
