Quest for Freedom!

~ An insight into OCD ~ Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Dear Diary,
Well, I'm still at my friends place and still doing great! I can't begin to tell you how good it feels to finally be living some kind of normal life. I can go for walks by myself and did so yesterday! There is a feeling of freedom - freedom from the constraints of this awful illness. My dose of Lofepramine has been doubled to 150mg, so I now take two 20mg Prozac in the morning and two 75mg Lofepramine at night - it's a wonder I don't rattle!

Hubby's been doing a lot of painting in the house, trying to make our home environment better for me and feel less contaminated. We miss each other of course, but it's doing me so much good to be away, and he's really proud of me. I was bouncing a Tennis ball the other day and catching it!!! ME touch something that's been on the floor - unheard of! LOL. The longer I'm here, the more "normal" I feel. Of course I'm still a Fruitcake, but a normal one. HA.

Christmas is getting ever nearer and I've been looking at stuff. I haven't been Christmas shopping for a couple of years; usually hubby has to do it. It'd be nice to do it myself. It's getting cold here in lovely, sunny England... and WET! There was a frost last night, mind you. I'm not too bothered what the weather's doing. In a way, I'm just happy to be experiencing LIFE in all it's shivery glory! Oh well, I'm off to make a cup of tea, so bye for now.
See you next month,

Sani.xx
