   Alternative Mental Health Overview

For a myriad of reasons, a lot of people are turning to alternative treatments for mental health conditions. The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine reports that 36% of U.S. adults use some form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) today. Although the concept of alternative treatments for psychological disorders such as ADHD, anxiety disorders and depression has been standard practice in eastern cultures for thousands of years, it's now becoming more acceptable in the west.
