I want to share a story to help you on your way.

A Duck IS a Duck

Once upon a time the animals decided they should do something meaningful to meet the problems of the new world. So, they organized a school. They adopted an activity curriculum of running, climbing, swimming and flying. To make it easier to implement the curriculum, all the animals took all the subjects.

The duck was excellent in swimming, indeed, better than the instructor. But he made only passing grades in flying and was very poor in running. Since he was slow in running, he had to stay everyday after school to practice running. This caused his feet to be badly worn. So he was only average in swimming. But average was quite acceptable, so nobody worried about that except the duck.

The squirrel was excellent in climbing and very good in running. However, he was constantly frustrated in flying class because his teacher insisted he start from the ground up rather than from the treetop down. He was so tired from all that overexertion that he only got a "C" in climbing and a "D" in running.

The eagle was the problem child, needing severe discipline for his non-conformity. In climbing classes he beat all the others to the top of the tree, but insisted on doing it his own way.....

The moral of the story-- a duck IS a duck.

If you identify with this story then I have plenty of helpful information for you. Click here to continue your journey and to find out how we can help our "eaglets" fly.
