Yell and Tell - Break the Silence Bingo

Have the children fold a piece of plain paper into 16 squares. Have them cut out the enclosed squares and glue them onto their paper in any order they wish. Read the following questions and have them place a marker on the correct answer. Keep playing until you have lots of winners!

1. What do you call an adult you know loves you and you can trust no matter what?

A trusted adult

2. What do you call a person whom you do not know- even if you've seen them on T.V.?

A stranger

3. What is an uncomfortable touch?

A touch that is not bad, but one you just don't feel like at the time.

4. What do you call a touch that makes you feel happy and safe?

A good touch

5. What do you call the part of your body that is covered by a bathing suit?

Private zone

6. What do you call a touch in your private zone or any touch that hurts or scares you?

A bad touch

7. What should you yell if a stranger approaches you and you get an "Uh Oh" or bad feeling?

BACK OFF STRANGER!

9. What do you call a word that only the members of your family know?

A family code word

10. What do you call it when an adult beats up on a child?

11. What do you call it when adults don't give children the right amount or kinds of food, clean clothing and other care children need?

Neglect

12. What should you remember if someone abuses you?

13. What should you do if a stranger approaches you?

Yell, Run, Tell

14. What should you do if you are abused or scared about someone and the first adult you tell doesn't believe you?

Tell another trusted adult. Keep telling until someone believes and helps you.

Safety and love
