For as long as I can remember I've always loved books
-- they have taught, comforted, entertained, and helped to create me. Below is a
list of books that I have found to be particularly valuable. By no means is this a
complete list. I have loved many books, far too many to include on this page.
Many who have visited this page have recommended books to me and I
thank you for sharing your discoveries. Several kind folks (including my wonderful
webmaster at 1k.com) have also suggested that I place a link to Amazon in order to make
ordering simple for those who'd like to purchase (as well as to recoup some of the
