My Wall

This was the first thing I sketched. It was a picture I saw in my mind, many times, as I would try and find out what it was that kept me at a distance from God and from others.

One thing my therapist pointed out to me was the fact that my emotions, illustrated in the tornado, were away from me. I didn't understand the connection then, but now I do. I had been very detached from my emotions, especially the anger and pain. Also, circles and swirls and tornados have been a significant occurrence in my dreams and my doodling's. I still don't know why.
