One More Day
by Sefra Kobrin Pitzele
During those darkest times, we may not be able to think beyond this moment,
this pain, this loss. All we're aware of is this tiny piece of time, and it
casts it's darkness on all we remember and all we see in the future. This
moment is a fraction of a lifetime; this feeling is just one perception among
thousands we've experienced. We owe it to ourselves to be sure of what we are
experiencing before discarding the entire book in order to rid ourselves of one
hated page.
Here are some positive affirmations for when you hit those low spots in
life:
- My feelings are real, but so is the chance that better things lie ahead. I
pray for patience.
- Hope renews me and lets me face each day with the best possible attitude.
- Today I will concentrate only on the things that must be dealt with in
these twenty-four hours.
- I am proud I can give comfort and strength to those who need it. I am
grateful for those who comfort me.
