Raising Your Spirited Child; Mary Sheedy Kurcinka.

Kurcinka is an educator, and parent of a difficult child who didn't like the label "difficult." She correctly points out that many of the characteristics that make a child difficult, are attractive characteristics when properly managed (eg. stubborn/persevering). Kurcinka's book relies on the Chess/Turecki material but uses a positive frame. It also addresses goodness of fit issues and what it is like to parent when you have similar and/or different characteristics than your child.
