Take Virtual Trips at the Gym: HealthyPlace.com Dieting, Weight Loss Community

Sometimes people like to take "virtual trips" or "race" each other to get somewhere to make the miles they clock at the gym less boring. I'm trying to get where I can clock "real bike" miles and travel up the Florida coastline but in the meantime part of my training for that is a virtual trip to the opposite corner of the US. Like this:

That's right. From Orlando, FL to Seattle, WA. A total of 3140.1 miles! I want to "get" to Seattle before a year is out from the start of the trip. I'll be biking, swimming, walking, jogging or elliptical trainer-ing my way across. When I get there I will think of something cool to do. Maybe I ought to pay myself a dollar a mile. I can think of a lot of things to do with $3, 140!
