Fixed some of my problems around
here with links, email and other stuff. There power outages really screwed up a
lot! :P
I just noticed
"Adios, Barbie"
website has a new look plus a new "Feed the Model" game.
Fuuuuuuuun! :)
I also noticed that there's a
different Power Puff Girls game -- this time it's
against the Rowdy Ruff Boys. Here's the other PPG
games:
What about
printing this month's calendar sheet from Sanrio?
My mom bought this
monster watermelon and she brought over half of it. Even HALF this thing is
bigger than a basketball! What was she thinking? I took a big knife and
lopped off a slice about 1.5 inches thick, and put this big circle of
watermelon on a plate and then wedged it up further.
I went outside with
it to sit on the wooden bench that's by the flowerbeds and noted that I have
about 6 new pink blooms and 8 yellow ones. I had to lean forward with my elbow
on my knee so the watermelon juice would dribble down my chin onto the lawn and
not make a mess on my shirt whenever I took a bite. Mmmmm! It was sooo cold,
and juicy!
I had grabbed Judy
Blume's
Just As Long As We're Together off one of the bookshelves on
the way out to skim while eating my snack and spitting out the watermelon
seeds. Thought about how Dad always yelled at us when we were kids for spitting
the seeds in the lawn because then they might sprout and he'd have to pull them
out. This made me laugh, so I missed when I spat one out and it stuck to my arm
which in turn made me think about the end of
Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great, where the girls each name
three watermelon seeds after boys, stick them to their foreheads, and wait to
see which one fell off last to find out who they were going to marry.
I debated naming
three seeds Paul, Joe, and Carlos just to see if Paul could stick it out or if
I'd married the wrong guy. Hee hee.
I guess I'm feeling
playful today. And definitely summery.
