These are other fine writings that did not fit the other categories.

Included are writings from MDs, ECT survivors and activists.

This newsletter for ECT survivors from the UK has ceased operations due to budget constraints.

From Linda Andre, a nationally-known survivor and activist, and head of CTIP, a review of the newest video on ECT!

An excellent article on ECT from the late Quinn Rossander. His article examines the history of shock treatments and contains some personal observations. Ross was an amazing person himself, fighting hard for the rights of mental patients, and putting his money where his mouth is. Sadly, Ross died in May 1998. The world lost an amazing human being.

The ECT FAQ from CTIP. Everything you wanted to know about ECT, from a survivor.

Dr. Max Fink, shock doc grandpa, calls for a more liberal attitude in using ECT in children. His article on pediatric ECT discusses the use of ECT in an 8-year-old child, and among 150 adolescents. Hey, kids! Don't listen to those records backwards, or you'll get a dose! Read this letter from Max about pediatric ECT. And in contrast, a British expert warns against the use of ECT in children.

An attorney specializing in psychiatric malpractice writes 'Electroshock: Crimes Against Humanity!'

From a visitor, two fantastic cartoons depicting ECT. Charles, you're a talented artist, but you didn't include a valid email address...please email me! I tried to write to you and thank you for such brilliant work, but it bounced. The first, called unemployment, depicts a shock doc on the unemployment line. The second, shock, shows a series of panels and the wonderful results! Herr Doktor is delightful! A big thank you to Charles!

ECT Anon Newsletter
From the UK, another fine issue of the ECT Anonymous Newsletter...this is the summer 1999 edition. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it (it's a free download). You can read the table of contents here. Don't miss the article on a kind of therapy for depression!
