These photographs document not only the worst moments of my sister's mania, but also her eventual recovery. Altogether they span about a year, beginning at the start of 1995, and continuing into the summer and winter months. Included are excerpts from writings that my sister composed during her scariest moments, and also some her thoughts about the past. I have worked closely together with my sister and my family on these pages, and have learned much from doing so. It's painful to remember, but it's good to know that my sister is back
