Prescribed Antidepressants
The total number of research participants who have used at
least one Prescribed Antidepressant is 288 (or 56%). A total of
55 (or 10.6%) of research participants are/have taken more than one
Prescribed Antidepressant. A total of 12 (or 2.3%) of research
participants are/have taken more than two Prescribed
Antidepressants. Tables 7 shows the total number of research
participants taking the various Prescribed Antidepressants and the
length of time they have used these Antidepressants.

For example, 58 (or 11.2%) of participants have taken Zoloft. 5
of those people did not specify how long they had taken Zoloft. The
average length of time that people had/are taking Zoloft is 12
months or 1 year. 5 had/have taken Zoloft for 2-5 years etc. 29
participants are still taking Zoloft while 29 have ceased to take
it. The Table showing Total Antidepressants Taken shows a total
number of 355 of the listed Antidepressants had been reported as
being taken. There were multiple antidepressants used by
participants therefore the increased number from the 288 (or 56%)
figure quoted previously. This Table gives an overview of the
average time the antidepressant had been used by participants. Here
the mean time for taking a Antidepressant is 17 months
(approximately 1.4 years).

For your information, the Table shows the Generic Name of the
Antidepressants frequently prescribed for Anxiety Disorders. Note
that there can be multiple antidepressants under one generic name.
For example, Zoloft, Arapax and Prozac are all SSRI antidepressants.
Although they are in the Generic Antidepressant classification of
SSRI, they are different prescribed antidepressants.
