I have great concern for animal's welfare and their rights to live a happy and healthy life. I devote this page to pets. Anyone who has now, or has had in the past, the good fortune to experience the joy of sharing their lives with pets understands how much they enrich our lives and will work to keep them safe. This empathy will extend to all God's creatures.

While growing up, we always had pets in the house. From pets I received unconditional love. No matter my mood, behavior or the amount of attention I presented, they were always there and could always made me feel loved.

It has been said that we can learn so much just by watching animals. One lesson that I have found most valuable is that they seem to practice mindful living very easily. A lesson for us all in our busy society

You will find some links to various organizations and information on how you can help at the bottom of this page. I will be adding more information along with some pictures of my family soon.

Voice of the Voiceless
I am the Voice of the Voiceless
Through me the dumb shall speak
'Til the world's deaf ear be made to hear
The wrongs of the wordless weak.
Oh shame on the mothers of mortals
Who do not stoop to teach
The sorrow that lies in dear dumb eyes
The sorrow that has no speech.
From street, from cage, from kennel
From stable and from zoo
The wail of my tortured kin proclaims the sin
Of the mighty against the frail.
But I am my brother's keeper
And I shall fight their fight
And speak the word for beast and bird
Till the world shall set things right.
