POW! About Physical Self DefenseCan women defend themselves? You better believe it! Women can be strong, and women can fight successfully. Women learn to punch and kick and break holds. In a 6-8 week class, women become so much stronger and more confident. It's exciting to watch fear turn into action. A good suite of self defense techniques --
I can't teach you how to throw a punch online, but I can give you some guidelines on fighting back. First, believe you're worth fighting for -- because you are. Next, increase the resources you have in a confrontation by learning some new physical techniques. Then practice, practice, practice, so your body knows instantly what to do. Every confrontation is different, but statistically, women who defend themselves improve their chances of preventing rape. And while a self-defense class is not a guarantee, women who have taken one are statistically more likely to fight off an attacker. I encourage you to find the rape prevention class that's right for you.
