Prayers

Please pray for these people in need. I believe very strongly in the power of prayer. The more people giving positive energy to someone, the more likely they are to benefit. If you know of someone in need of prayer toward them, please email me.

Here's a prayer that brings comfort to me.

July 30, 1999

Please pray for Pamela, 26 years old and still with the father who has sexually abused and dominated her all her life. Her sister escaped home at 16. Her mother and brothers have now also gone, all denying the past. "She is old enough to do what she wants," they say, but she knows nothing else and everyone else has deserted her except her father...even her mother who should have been there for her.

To anyone looking in, she is intelligent, attractive, strong-willed and down to earth. The reality is that she falls apart when no one can see. She bathes in water so hot, it would scald you. She is not allowed friends, moves to a new location frequently and her life revolves around her father. She earns her money for him, she keeps house for him, and does anything for him.

She nearly broke free once and actually told me what he had done to her over the years, but he clicked his fingers and off they went again and, of course, the family denied it all.

I haven't been able to talk to her for years. I found an address recently but they've moved again.

Please pray for my Pamela to know that she is loved and to find the strength to break free. Also pray for him to put things right and stop the abuse. Please god don't let him hurt anyone else either.
