Practical Help With EducationGrey Olltwit Freeware Applications. These are programs produced by my good self, and yes, according to my kids I am a gray Old Twit. They are a small collection of freeware programs, available to download now, made for my children which may be of help to others. Titles include Grey Olltwit's Guide to England, (about the geography of England), Grey Olltwit's Times Tables, Our Solar System, plus there are free screensavers including 'ADHD Or What', and games. Click on Grey Olltwit to the left here to link to my software site to give you more details of the above titles and download information. These programs are free, so don't expect them to be mind-blowing brilliant. They are Windows programs, working best with systems running Windows '95/98. 10 out of 10 Educational Systems produce a wide range of British made educational software which we have found invaluable for our ADD son, Richard, who also has special educational needs. Our other two sons, Michael and Alan, have found them extremely useful too. Their new titles, Test Your Child series are particularly useful, enabling parents to find out just how their children are getting on. A full report is produced showing strengths and weaknesses in relation to the core National Curriculum subjects. Titles are available on PC CD Rom at £14.99 each and are available in most large electrical retailers in the UK (Comet, Dixon's etc.).
