Lisa's Story

I am the parent of a child with ADHD, and I had ADHD myself as a child. I am also his teacher as we have chosen to home school him ourselves. Public school for us was a nightmare, he had no patience for them and they had none for him.

But thanks to some wonderful teachers that I had as a child, We knew that my son's problem wasn't that unusual, so we had him tested, the result was ADHD.

He now takes Ritalin as I did as a child, and with home school which offers us more options for scheduling, he is doing great.

I look forward to sharing any experiences with others as I can. I also had ADHD as a child, and would be thrilled to share that experience as well, either with other ADHD people, or with their parents.
