Life

Life is so fragile
just when we think we have everything under control
something changes
Usually in a manner or way
that we would never expect
or plan for
Or even be able to imagine
The new challenges and changes
have a way of
Sneaking up on us from our unawares
side, the one we occasionally forget to
look from or
Look to.
Even though it often speaks to us
quietly, or compellingly
From within our dreams
and visions or did we forget
about dreams and visions
Such silly and meaningless things
that some believe are only the realm of
childhood experiences and imaginations.
I am compelled to disagree
We learn and grow through change
and struggle with the new potentials
And possibilities that
we ask to be
Placed before us
But the goals we create
the challenges we undertake
and the paths we walk
